Where Can I Camp?
Suffolk is home to a wide range of motorhome-friendly campsites, from family-run rural sites to coastal parks with sea views. Many campsites across the county welcome motorhomes of all sizes, offering electric hook-ups, fresh water, waste disposal, and shower blocks – everything you need for a comfortable stay.
While wild camping (parking up overnight outside a designated site) isn’t generally allowed in England without landowner permission, there are plenty of approved sites where motorhomes are warmly welcomed. Some pubs and farms also offer overnight stays as part of schemes like Brit Stops.
When booking, be sure to check that the site accepts motorhomes (some may be caravan-only). To help get you started, we’ve included some handy links below to find motorhome-friendly spots across Suffolk.
